Family Mental Health Guide
Are you eager to work with underserved populations that do not traditionally have access to world-class care? Then you may have stumbled upon the right role for you!
About Flourish
More than 10% of children and young adults will be diagnosed with serious mental health needs. The majority of these families struggle to get the care and support they need. Flourish (https://flourish.health/) is here to ensure that everyone has access to great care.
About the role
We are looking for a full-time Family Mental Health Guide to support our patients and their families. Our patients are children, teens and young adults living with serious mental illness, who are treated by a multi-disciplinary team of clinicians. You will be the front-line relationship with the primary family member, providing support, companionship, and coaching, as they care for their adolescent during our yearlong treatment program. Caregivers (family members) are too often overlooked in pediatric mental health care. We believe including them in our care model will bolster their ability to effectively support and care for their child, thus catalyzing change. You will be providing non-clinical, virtual support. We see Family Mental Health Guides as vital to the team’s success, and are building this role to be a sustainable, long-term career.
